The Woodland is a classic double monkstrap style -- but you can see this colorway is anything but "typical!" A new green rendition of our marble patina finishing is aggressive without being garish, and light gold tone hardware complements the green tones beautifully. The Woodland sits on our sharp-chisel MGF last for a sharp, angular effect that is heightened by the subtly pitched heels; this whole shoe is meant to be a statement, from its color to its silhouette.

Style this Woodland with mid-grey, mid-blue, or neutral trousers, bearing in mind that this shoe is meant to create a bold effect. Lean into that by pairing with a forest-green jacket, or maybe pull it back a bit and use only a green tie or pocket square to complete the outfit.

Single leather soles are our most handsome sole option. A subtle profile combines with tastefully pitched heels, beveled waists, and closed-channel stitching to ensure an elegant look, while seven brass nails in the toe improve longevity.

The Woodland, on the MGF Last, is a generous and elongated fitting double monk. It is reminiscent to a generous derby style. The double monkstrap pattern, coupled with the chisel last, gives a generous instep and elongated toe box.

If you wear slender lasts, you will wish to size down. If you wear more generous fitting lasts, often found in Italian brands or on other chisel lasts, stick with your typical size. If you are a standard fit, it will be up to you to decide if you prefer a little more room or a snugger fit. If more room, stick to the same size, if more snug, size down.
