A true wholecut oxford is a beautiful thing: The clean and unbroken pattern leaves the leather and silhouette speaking for themselves, and gives you the opportunity to show off the handsome shine you've lovingly applied to your pair.

The "Union" is our first JF Line wholecut oxford with no brogueing, and as such we made it on our chisel Saint Helens last, to really sharpen the lines on which a wholecut's style depends. The resulting shoe is sleek and leans heavily towards formal wear; while you can wear it casually, we recommend you pair the Union with some tailoring.

The black calf of this model creates a perfect black dress wholecut. Wear in any business or formal setting with your favorite black, grey, or blue tailoring.

    Wholecut Oxford

    Wholecut oxfords are identified by their construction from a single piece of leather, and their closed-lace pattern. These two features work together to create an oxford that is both sleek and comfortable, with the wholecut pattern ensuring that each shoe easily "molds" to your foot as you wear it.

    what it's lasted on:

    Saint Helens Last

    The Saint Helens last is the chisel last of our JF line. It is slightly elongated, but less so than our J. FitzPatrick line chisel lasts; it ultimately fits very true to size with a medium instep and a cut that closely follows the contours of the foot.  We recommend keeping your standard size with the Saint Helens last.

    The Saint Helens is a classic medium-fitting last:
    -Medium forefoot (neither too wide nor too narrow)
    -Medium instep, not as generous as our J.FitzPatrick Line lasts
    -Good for medium width feet
    -Slightly elongated last, yet very shaped to foot length/profile

    what you'll be standing on:

    Street Walker Sole

    The "Street Walker" sole is an open-channel, combination leather and rubber design. Leather heel stacks and mid soles are topped with rubber to create an all-weather capable finish.

    size guidance

    The Union offers a standard to generous, elongated fit. It is not wide but can accommodate a broader foot. We recommend sticking to your typical size. A narrow foot will need to size down for a snug fit.

    Great Shoes!

    It is my first pair of J. Fitzpatrick. I am generally warry of buying dress shoes online without trying them since I have a wider foot. I did a lot of research on different shoe brands with some skepticism but these fit great! They also expedited the shipment as I needed the shoes for a wedding!

    The shoes arrived in just a few days. True to size and ready to wear, as advertised. SUPERIOR QUALITY over my old brand name shoes. Even the shoe trees were impressive. A few days later, I donated my old brand names to a charity store, and the old shoe trees are now in my golf shoes. I ordered 3 more pairs of JFs, and got a call from Justin himself, to make sure my order was correct. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
