The Snoqualmie Boot is the ideal city walking boot for the Autumn/Winter season. 

With the Winter months in a rough-weather-city choosing functional yet aesthetically pleasing footwear can be a challenge. With this boot, there are all the necessary functions of a winter boot but this model wouldn't look out of place under a smart pair of trousers for a more formal occasion/meeting. It certainly beats a duck boot! 

The Black Calf Commando version has you covered to wear even under a flannel suit in the challenging seasons but looks best when paired under any kind of denim and/or chinos. This boot, while being casual in nature allows you the best chance of formality for those very rough weather days when wearing normal dress boots simply won't cut it. Anyone who lives in a snowy/heavy rainfall environment will know what we mean. 

While we market this as a city boot, there is no reason you could not take these for dry-hiking. It could withstand rain too, but we do not advise this boot to replace proper hiking boots for long-haul hikes in snowy terrains.

The Snoqualmie in Black Calf will easily become your go-to Winter boot when the weather prompts practical ruggedness.

    TMG Last

    The TMG is our smart round last. Its subtle shape ensures an elegant look on any style of shoe, and its versatility enables you to wear it anywhere from the boardroom to date night.

    The TMG is a classic medium-fitting last:
    -Standard forefoot
    -Semi-voluminous instep
    -Good for medium to broad feet
    -Non-elongated last

    Commando Sole

    Lug "commando" soles give this monkstrap an exceptionally hardy feel: Note that the sole's ridges are not limited to its interior, but extend all the way to the sole's edge, for a subtler look without compromising function.

    Size Guidance

    The Snoqualmie, on our TMG last, is a very standard fitting boot. We recommend you stick with your standard size. The instep is semi-generous, so if you have a slender foot, you will want to half-size down or wear a thicker sock in your standard size. Due to the wholecut nature of the boot, the leather gives quite quickly, and you gain about ¼ of size. We still recommend sticking to your standard fit and allowing that break-in, to give you room for a thicker sock in the colder months. Broader feet will also fit in their standard size.

    Best boot by far

    I’d like to consider my self a shoe guy. I have brands like Carmina and Crockett & Jones in my collection. However I keep finding my self reaching for this boot. I like it so much purchased a pair black, brown suede and brown. Perfect dressed up or down. Most importantly suitable for Chicago winters. Well done J Fitzpatrick this boot is an instant classic.

    Excellent Boot

    Justin positions this as a city walking boot, and I think that's a very good description. It's rugged, and it looks good, and it's very comfortable. I really like the design of this boot-the flaps and lacing combine to keep my feet dry in wet slushy winter weather.

    Simply stated, these shoes are beautiful and comfortable. The quality leather is a plus for me, because I am very picky about my shoes, and demand the best for my feet.
