The "Pike" is our version of the classic horsebit loafer that took men's footwear by storm many years ago. The horsebit style is traditionally Italian, but has become a staple piece in the the gentleman's wardrobe across the globe -- particularly in New York City.
Among a crowd of imitators, the Pike stands alone as a finely balanced loafer. Its handsome last creates a timeless and elegant silhouette; its hand-stitched "apron" is subtler than the chunky and moccasin-like equivalent found even among designer brands; and finally, its smaller "horse bit" piece creates a more proportional and, consequently, more attractive overall design.
