Lasts Available For MTO Customization
A total of eight lasts are available to choose from when designing a made-to-order style. Each last has its own unique nuances of shape and fit, and should be selected carefully. Click on a last below to see more details.
TMG - SMART ROUND
The TMG last has a smart-round shaped toe which is truly versatile, and can be worn in both formal and semi-formal settings.
Its subtle shape ensures an elegant look no matter what style of shoe is made on it. If you're a man who loves classic styling, the TMG last will best suit your needs.
The TMG is a classic medium fitting last:
- Classic Standard Fit, neither too wide nor narrow by any means
- Semi voluminous instep
- Good for medium to broad feet
- Semi-elongated last

NGT - ALMOND ROUND
The NGT last has an almond-round toe, narrower in comparison with the TMG last.
The NGT has a slender silhouette and elongated toe box, ideal for pairing with sharp tailoring.
As one of our more refined lasts in terms of fit, the NGT is best suited to feet of narrow to medium width.
- More slender / shallow forefoot than TMG
- Less voluminous instep than TMG, but not a low instep
- Not good for wide feet
- Elongated last
- Feels more generous on boots than does on shoe models

MGF - HARD CHISEL
A hard chisel last like our MGF is as no-nonsense as it gets: Its sharp yet fluid shape creates an uncompromisingly elegant and professional look, making it an ideal choice for business and formal attire.
Our chisel lasts are our most generous in fit, comfortably accommodating broader feet.

LPB - SOFT CHISEL
The LPB last is a softer chisel last originally derived from the hard-chisel MGF last. The LPB sports gentler lines for a less aggressive, more everyday look that can be worn more widely.
The elegant contours of the LPB last nevertheless make it an ideal choice for all weights of tailoring.
Our chisel lasts are our most generous in fit, comfortably accommodating broader feet.

JKF - POINTED ROUND
Our classic, pointed round JKF last should not be mistaken for the unfortunately misshapen, overly elongated lasts seen all too often. The JKF maintains the elegance of our smart-round TMG last, and by simply extending the toe creates a subtly pointed effect.
The result is a sleeker last with a slimmer silhouette, without encountering any restrictions in the toe box; the JKF is actually quite forgiving in the forefoot.
The JKF is one of our medium fitting lasts: Neither particularly wide nor particularly narrow

Sea - symmetrical point
Our pointed symmetrical SEA last is reminiscent of many French and Italian style last shapes. The pointed nose of the SEA creates a formal effect, making it preferable to wear with business attire or other tailoring.
As one of our more refined lasts in terms of fit, the SEA is best suited to feet of narrow to medium width.
- Narrower/shallower forefoot
- Less voluminous instep, but not a low instep
- Not good for wide feet
- Elongated last

SES - CLASSIC ROUND (SHOES ONLY)
The SES last is our take on the "bulbous round" toe shape common among classic American and English shoe styles, such as longwings and derbies, respectively.
The SES has a very round toe, but not an overly wide toebox. Its shape is more casual than most of our styles, making for an easy pairing with cotton trousers or denim.
The SES last is only available on low shoes (not boots). It has a classic medium fitting
- Classic standard fit
- Not as voluminous instep as our other models
- Non-elongated last, very shaped to foot length / profile
- A hugging last in the forefoot
NJF - CLASSIC ROUND (BOOTS ONLY)
The NJF last is the boot version of our SES last. Like the SES, it is our take on the "bulbous round" toe shape common among classic American and English shoe styles, such as Alden, Cheany, or Grenson boots.
The NJF last is only available on boots. It has a classic medium fitting
- Semi generous forefoot
- Voluminous instep (unlike SES, where instep was made lower)
- Good for medium to broad feet
- Non-elongated last, very shaped to foot length / profile
